Java Moss is the cornerstone moss of the planted tank world — and for good reason. Its dense, irregular branching creates a rich, natural texture that looks equally at home in a minimalist Nature Aquarium layout or a heavily planted jungle scape. It attaches readily to driftwood, rocks, mesh, and décor, spreading into a lush living carpet over time. It also free-floats beautifully, making it an instant addition to any setup without any prep.

Java Moss spreads easily on its own — simply trim overgrowth and redistribute. It attaches to rough surfaces using rhizoids; use fishing line or super glue gel to fix it in place initially, and it will anchor itself within a few weeks.
